LET'S MAKE IT A BANNER YEAR FOR SALMON…
ArtNow and the Salmon Festival Planning Committee invite you to take part in SALMON ART.We have more than one opportunity to bring out the artistic talents in all of us!
Before Event Day:
Create a BANNER celebrating the many relationships between salmon, their environment and humans. Bring your fabric panel creation to North Mountain Park by September 26 so it can be displayed during the event. Please limit the size of your banner to 30 by 60 inches. Banners need to be weather resistant as they will be hung outdoors. If you want to participate by entering a banner, fill out an online entry form here.
During the Event:
Make a BANNER with friends during the Festival by joining others to create thematic free-form banners using stamps, stencils, pens, paints and stickers.
During the Event:
Explore, discover and color a seven foot long salmon BANNER during the Festival. The banner will be richly filled with salmon related images. (Inspired by artist Sue Coccia)
